Nice weight for warmth. Great every day sweater.
Beautiful practical. The collar is a bit stiff - so does not stay down. If it was a bit wider I believe it would stay down. This is the only reservation of this nice weight sweater.

Below zero temps in and I lived in this sweater
We went on a Yellowstone winter trip in below zero weather with cold winds. I worse this sweater over my base layers for five days in a row. I tried one day wearing something different and really missed the warmth and protection from this sweater. Had I known it was going to be that good I would have taken two and left some of my other heavier shirts. It looks good as well and I worse most nights to dinner. My husband also had the men’s sweater and we were both so thankful we decided to take them.

Purple Waterfowl is wonderful and so warm
I love quarter-zip sweatshirts so this is right up my desire list. I love to keep warm in Michigan with this sweatshirt. No need for a jacket to go outdoors.

Not for me
I was looking for a women's merino sweater and this was what Bean offered, I didn't really like any of the color choices and I really wanted a cardigan. I bought this one and a mens cardigan. This is a nice sweater, good weight, nice detail around the color and zipper. It just wasn't what I was looking for and felt bulky around my belly.

This sweater is gorgeous. The fit is simple and trim. Warm and fairly thick but not too bulky because of the merino. True to size for me. (5'8", 155 lbs, purchased size large) I can layer a long sleeved tee underneath. Love the soft fabric inside the collar. I bought the dark green and just ordered a second one in sable. Glad Bean is still making sweaters like this one.
