Women's 3 in 1 winter jacket
I ordered this jacket online. It fits just right and has plenty of pockets. I chose the rust/orange color and really like it. The only thing I would have liked better is if the inside jacket (liner) were a more smooth/slippery material. It's sometimes difficult to get on and off if wearing flannel or sweater.

An omission that ruined a great jacket
I had a previous version of this jacket, loved it, and kept it until I finally needed to replace it. I bought this new version in large. It is a little longer than my previous one and also a bit roomier which I like since I wear a lot of bulky sweaters. The snaps in front are better than the Velcro since the Velcro had a tendency to collect lint.
Here is why I didn't give this jacket a higher rating:
My old version had snap loops under the armpits to hold the inner lining in place when you slide your arms into the sleeves. They went cheap and did not include those. What happens is your sweater/ shirt sleeves end up above your elbows no matter what you are wearing! Even if you try to hold your sleeves with your fingers, the inner lining pulls outside of the outer sleeves. It's a terrible design and I can only believe it was done to "save them money."
The other thing I didn't like about this jacket was the choice, or lack thereof, of colors. It came in white/tan, teal, orange, blue, and black. White gets dirty too quickly, and the teal was also very light, so they did not make the cut. I don't care for orange. That left blue and black. I like blue, but this blue was almost "muddy" colored. I returned it and got the black. It's just okay. Not a great shade of black either.

WOMEN'S 3 IN 1 JACKET
I HAVE TO COMMENT ON THE FALSE ADVERTISING OF SAYING THE INNER JACKET IS FLEECE. OMG IT IS THE WORST FABRIC I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND THAT IT IS FROM LL BEAN IS SOOOO DISAPPOINTING. THE EXTERIOR IS NOT FLEECE. I HAD A PREVIOUS JACKET FROM 2012 AND SADLY, I LOST THE FLEECE PART IN AN AIRPORT AFTER ALL MY RETURNING FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED. IT WAS NEVER RETURNED TO THE LOST AND FOUND. THAT OLD ONE WAS A TRUE FLEECE JACKET. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS FAKE FLEECE JACKET HAS NOT BEEN REPORTED. THE SHELL IS WONDERFUL; THE FLEECE INNER JACKET IS AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL MATERIAL.

Very nice jacket.
I love this jacket, however I don't wear them zipped together because you can't wear a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt as the sleeves are too tight on the inner jacket. The outer jacket is warm enough by itself and if it's very cold I'll wear a sweatshirt with it and I'm comfortable. I don't like bulky jackets so that is why I love this one so much. I had a LLBean 3 in 1 jacket for 20 years and it finally needed replacing. I wish this came in more color choices. I bought the black because I didn't care for the other colors. It runs true to size.

Disappointed
The body of the jacket is large in proportion to the rest of the jacket. Ill fitting allowing the cold air to get under the jacket causing the body to be cold. Very disappointing. My current LLBean jacket is over 25 years old so I was expecting another great jacket.

Old and New, both grear
Always just a perfect warmth. This is my second such coat. The first one is really old, still functions, but is a bit tight now. It's been long enough I'm a bit (maybe a lot) larger. I can still wear the old one. Now I have a more comfortable to close dressy looking one!

Just wish it came in petite sizes! This jacket is incredibly versatile. Where I live, you could get through the winter with it.
