Great jacket!
Great jacket for my big boy, Thunder! We just relocated from Florida to Virginia and it’s a lot colder here. You could almost see his smile when I put it on him! Very well made item. My only suggestion would be to move the opening for the collar up towards the neck for those of us who do not use a harness for their dogs.

It’s a nice warm and well made coat BUT the neck Velcro especially wasn’t enough! The coat kept falling off my active dog! There needs to be a substantial amount of Velcro on the flaps otherwise it just won’t stay on. I’m returning it.

Everything About This Field Coat Is Perfection!
Perfection! Everything about this Field Coat is quality - design, material (on both sides!), workmanship, Velcro - like what I’d expect on a “coat” for me! I got this for my “senior” German Shepherd Dog - a retired K9 - as protection from the harsh upstate NY weather elements. It’s easy-on, easy-off, secures well, and is flexible for his movement! He is a “long boy” - and it covers his hips and rump nicely! I’m using the solid side “up” - for wet (snow, rain) weather. I’m using the plaid side “up” - for cold, damp weather. I will be ordering a “2nd” Field Coat! Thank you LL Bean!

Field coat
I appreciate the coat for my German Shorthair. It fits well. She doesn't chew on it when she's wearing it. It doesn't chafe at the velcro straps.
