Should be pre-washed, but nice feeling.
I’m happy with the bath mat now that I washed it separately. Lots of fuzz. Couldn’t that washing have been done before selling/sending it? Some jeans are pre washed. Feels good, looks good. Not sure what a second washing will bring.

As described, this mat is super soft. I haven’t washed it yet, though. I have not experienced the “shedding” that others have described.

I love this rug BUT…..
I purchased this rug in navy. It’s looks perfect in my bathroom. I love it! BUT, it sheds horribly. I am constantly vacuuming loose fibers. I put it in the dryer (no heat) at least once a week to get the loose fibers. It looks perfect, then in a day or two it sheds again. I am amazed I have a rug left! I love it though but it is high maintenance!

Laying in the bathroom
This bath mat is lying on my floor. It doesn’t seem to mind me stepping on it. Not sure what else to say. Oh, I understand it doesn’t like to be washed. I saw some advice saying I should take it to the laundromat to wash it so it destroys laundromat property and not my own. This however seems like a bad deal for the laundromat and the customer who comes along after.

Nice look, Color is perfect. Nautical Stripe
Bought 3 different sizes for areas in bath. Excessive lint when mats were washed separately the first time. Hopefully that's it for the lint problem. Lint is only reason I would not wholeheartedly recommend. So that is a yes and a no on recommendation.
