It didn’t work out so well
I was looking to replace my FAVORITE light jacket that I had for 30 years. Yeah, that’s a long time. It’s nothing special but got compliments anyway. So comfortable I could wear it at the dinner table and not think anything of it but it was a little worn and needed an update. I ordered a medium, which had been a perfect fit, but in the new one I was just swamped so I re-ordered a size small. This size “fit” me but the cut is just goofy. The shoulders tugged and bunched, even though it seemed to have plenty of room. My wife just said it doesn’t look good. It wasn’t comfortable. I was never gonna wear it. That’s too bad.

Neither size med. or small a good fit
Medium too large and small too small. I settled on the small because the medium swam on me although all of my clothes are size medium. I am 5'9" and 160 lbs. I kept the small as the best I could do but am am disappointed after purchasing this expensive barn coat.

It’s just not the same.
This coat was a Christmas gift for my husband which arrived in January. He has owned this same coat for many, many years and it needed to be replaced. As with many things, you expect to receive the same coat as the one you purchased long ago and unfortunately this wasn’t the case. This newer version fits larger and the beloved removable lining is no longer there having been replaced by a flannel sewn-in lining. I will see if I can attach the old lining by using snaps that I sew in. So although the coat is of excellent quality, it’s just not the same.
