Very Warm
I bought this a few years ago for ice fishing when the weather is below zero. I'm going to say this jacket has kept me warm when the real feel was -30 with the wind. You can wear this with just long John's in 15 degree weather. The hood is heavy and awkward at times but we'll insulated and when you put it on you know why it's heavy. I do not have a warmer jacket and this is my go to. It does fit slim but I am very slim person.

Great Coat, Possible Improvements
Overall I'm very pleased with this coat, and would purchase it again. There are however, a few easy changes that would make it even better. First, the upper hand warmer pockets are too high. Dropping them by an inch or two would improve this. Second, the lower hand warmer pockets are above (outside) the lower storage pockets. So if you have gloves in the lower pockets, your hands will be above (outside) them. This seems backwards: the hand warmers should be below (under) the storage pockets. Third, exchanging the top velcro for another button or snap would be better, because the velcro gets caught on things.

Really good!
I'll make this simple. I needed a new snorkel to replace my old Northface. I actually googled the top choices in 2024; and this model was among the best. At this point, I've had it for several months and it's just as warm as my NF, if not warmer. I live in the NorthEast; and it's currently 20 something degrees. When I wear this snorkel, I don't feel a thing. I like the way way it fits because it's not too bulky. It's comfortable and extremely warm! It's that good.

This coat will keep you warm.
Warmest and best winter coat I have ever worn. Wind does not get through this coat. Zipper works great. The hood is a good thing to have while walking my dogs in 9° temperature with 30-40 mph wind gusts.
