Great For Snow and Mud. Good Traction
Solid footing. Keeps feet dry in light snow. (I also have the 8” bean boots for deep snow) Really love the gumshoes. I wear size 12 shoes so I bought the gumshoes in size 12. They are definitely bigger than a standard 12, feel more like a 13. I wear with thick socks so the fit is pretty good. I also find that I can drive a car with these shoes. My old not bean snow boots were too clunky to drive in. Also love wearing the Bean shoes for dog walks thru the mud/snow in the park. Feet stay dry and the treads help prevent slipping. Highly recommend

Best Shoes ever
Best Shoes for foul, wet weather or muddy conditions. I bought this pair to replace a pair I have had for over 20 years, which are still going strong. The bottoms have worn down and are a little slick on wet surfaces otherwise still prefect. The quality looks the same as the pair I am replacing and I expect to get 20 years out of the new pair. I hope I'm still around when this pair wears down. They will most likely go in my will.

Great working boot.
Warm and Comfortable best describes these boots. I already had a pair of Rubber Mocs for working out in my yard. But when i used them for weed-whacking or chain-sawing, stuff would invariably get inside. Gumshoes to the rescue! Not only do they keep the stuff out, but they are warmer and more comfortable for the more rugged use - even at 40 degrees I could focus on my work and not on the elements. They are worth every cent.

Sizing Chart Manufacturer recommendations
After reading The sizing text chart I ordered Size 12. However, even without socks, they were a bit small. Also, I did not like the seam across the heel upper. This is for the shoe style, the other hi ankle version has a pad shown in a crossed that seam.

What I Expected
I purchased these a few weeks ago. They are nice looking and completely waterproof. I ordered a size 8 for a size 9 foot. Even so, I find that I need 2 pairs of socks to keep the heels from sliding up and down. With the lower version I ended up tearing the heels out of more than 1 pair of socks. I plan to invest in thicker socks.
Pretty comfortable. I was tired of wet feet on my morning golf ball hitting and these will do fine. Can’t attest to durability yet. At least these lace up. The lower version is near impossible to restring.
