Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great poles, more rigid than most Pretty pleased with these trekking poles. I purchased the XL version thinking that the extra length would translate to more rigidity. It does. When adjusted to 125-135cm, they are quite rigid...no limp noodles here. The locks provide a strong and trustworthy lockup. Once I adjusted them, they have yet to slip--even when tested with my full weight (195 lbs). The grips are comfortable and straps work well. All in all, a great trekking pole that beats out higher-priced competitors. I had hoped that I'd also be able to use these as XC poles when out on metal-edged touring skis, off track. They may work for that purpose in a pinch, but they'd pale in comparison to a good 1-piece pole (too much flex for that purpose at 150cm). Not really a fault of the product--just simple physics and a tradeoff you'd see with any collapsible trekking pole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comparable I've purchesed similar baskets from other outdoor stores. They all have a habit of falling off my poles. I like that they keep the leaves attaching to a minimum. I use my poles frequently. The poles and baskets are staples in my hiking gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Replacement These snapped right on to replace the baskets that I lost after several years of use with my poles. Glad I did not need to purchase new poles but I would have if I needed to!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice not to pay shipping. It was really nice not to pay shipping as this was the only item I wanted. These larger baskets are very good in mud and sand. I use my poles mostly in Zion NP and the baskets do better than the Leki (as they are smaller and closer to the tip). You must use hot water or a hair dryer to remove but they go on easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good idea, but won't fit my poles I have an older set of LL Bean poles, ad said they would fit all poles. Wrong, had to send them back.
