My favorite everyday shirt
This is the best shirt, my favorite shirt, my daily shirt. I had this shirt (in blue) for many years (maybe 10?) and finally busted through the elbows while traveling. I patched them and then subsequently noticed a small hole in the armpit area. So, now that patched shirt lives in my art studio and I purchased a nice new one to replace it for more professional settings. It is currently packed in my suitcase for a work trip to South America.
I also have this shirt in the same size (petite XL) in green. The fit is great but I prefer the mixture of blue and white in this fabric, the green is just a flat green and I would prefer the mix. I also have the shirt in a flax color in the regular (not petite) sizing and have to roll up the sleeves, but like it, as well.

Blue Linen tunic
Love this linen tunic. Very flattering fit with sleeves the right length for me which is sometimes unattainable. Also the material is substantial so it drapes well. Have not washed it yet but even if it should shrink a bit, it would still fit well.

Sleeves way too long, fabric very transparent
I bought one in shell pink, and one in blue, but after I saw how absurdly long the sleeves were, I didn't even bother to try on the blue one. But on top of that, the Shell Pink shirt was so transparent that my underwear was clearly visible. Not okay! Bad sleeve fit, and unwearable, unless you want to display your underwear in public. I'm returning them. I have been shopping with L.L. Bean for over 50 years, and the quality has really deteriorated overtime. Very sad and disappointing.

Perfect linen tunic
Although I love linen and the color is great, I am upset that after washing according to the directions, that it appears to have shrunk and is extremely wrinkled. I will definitely have to iron it, and I hope the only reason it appears to have shrunk is because of the wrinkles, and that ironing will help. I will probably think twice before ordering another linen item from LLBeans, which bothers me since I have been buying from LLBean since 1968. Back then I knew I could find the best quality. Not sure now.
