good coat, disappointing hood
The coat is great, the hood is limited. It has a tight, low elastic around the front, which pulls it low and tight around the forehead. This is probably good for outdoor athletics in a downpour but awkward and unattractive for daily wear in a rain shower or just windy, cool weather. The coat is relatively warm given its light weight. I wear a petite small, which was sold out. The regular small is satisfactory, I had to send the regular extra small back. I am 5'4" and 118 pounds.

Lightweight and warm
I love this coat and have bought it twice over past 8 years. My only disappointment is the zipper which has broken on both coats.

Lightweight but SUPER WARM!
I bought this coat a few winters ago, and can't say enough good things about it. I live in Northern CA but am always freezing cold. I can't stand those giant puffers that make you look 30 lbs heavier so I thought I'd take a chance on this. So glad I did! The reviewers who say it's warm enough for WI or MI winters are not wrong! I've worn it back to visit my family in MI over Christmas a few years in a row and it's actually warm enough for me to be outside with my kids in MI winter! I don't know how, but it is. So for all the reviewers saying that it's "too lightweight" and knocking it before even wearing it somewhere cold, try it out before you bash it! It absolutely is warm, and warm enough for 10-30 degrees! It wasn't colder than that the past few Christmases in MI so I can't speak to how it would feel in negative temps.

Lovely coat that fits well
Really like this coat. I am a small person and it’s nice to have a coat that fits well and isn’t bulky. Mine is an x small petite and I am 5.1”. It’s good for cold weather but not likely the coldest NH winter days. I bought this for going to work and social wear not for cold weather outdoor stuff so am very happy.

So lightweight, still warm
I bought this coat in black almost 5 years ago and was hoping to get the gray but sadly it’s sold out in my size. I wear 8-10 and the large is too big so medium is likely the right fit. It’s so lightweight and not bulky at all, not overly puffy, But it kept me warm in NJ and PA.
