Legit’ WARM
Very, very warm. I mostly wear inside our home while we minimize our natural gas bill. MUCH warrmer than sweatshirts and medium weight fleece, or even heavier flannel, alone. The hood makes the biggest difference. I wore my last one until it was completely thread bare. I wish that LlBean would offer in some solid colors rather than just plaid. I am a woman- 5’5” 150 lbs- Medium provides a nice, relaxed fit.

The Hoddie is very comfortable and fits well. It even becomes softer after the first wash. It's become a favorite! It's warm enough to wear all day and just warm enough to grab and run out the door with it.

It's okay
I expected this to be of the same robust quality as the fleece-lined flannel shirts (I own two and love them) but it is not. It is a lighter weight, the buttons are wafer thin and hard to manage when my hands are cold, the pocket material tends to stay wrinkled/bunched up and there is no drawstring for the hood. Nothing I can't fix or live with, so I'll keep it but it's just not what I expected or wanted.
