Great Coat But Not Durable
I purchased this coat about four years ago. Liked it a lot. Was warm. Looked good. Fit well. However, it is starting to develop small rips in the elbow. Further, the cuff is starting to fray. I am disappointed that the waxed cotton is not holding up better. I have been a long time customer of LL Bean. I buy from them because their products are of high quality, are durable, and are reasonably priced. For some reason, this coat does not live up to my expectations for LL Bean.

Happy So Far
This coat is more useful than the one it replaced, which is a top brand, 750 fill rated, and very warm, but not water resistant enough for Colorado's Front Range late fall, winter, and early spring. The fill seems as good or better than the former. Also, it’s nice to have a coat that drops below the waist instead of a jacket. And it looks really nice.

Great Jacket but shoddy material
I bought this jacket in January of last year(2023) and at first it was great and was exactly as advertised. However, after just barely a year, the sleeves and linings are full of holes (and mind you, this is from very light use throughout the year). For $250, this simply is not up to the quality you'd expect at that price point. I rarely go out of my way to review products, but I specifically went back to do so after seeing how poorly this jacket has aged through the course of a year. I'd sooner save the $250 and get a brand with better craftsmanship. Photos attached, but that is just a small sample of the actual state of the jacket

Size is totally wrong!
Although this jacket is very warm and exactly what I wanted, it is very tight in the sleeves and shoulder. Because of my purchase date and weather was warmer, I only found discovered that it just is not a comfortable fit. I think the sizing is totally wrong.

Great coat
This is a great coat. My only complaint is that is I sometimes have a little difficulty getting the zipper started. The zipper pull is also not large enough, especially when wearing gloces.
