Not a perfect fit
I was very disappointed with these pants. Instead of a smooth waist band, the fabric was gathered onto the elastic. Since it is a somewhat thick fabric, it added inches to my waist. And because of the waist, the fabric flowed down like a curtain so that instead of a nice, smooth silhouette, you could see waves. Certainly not a style for me.

Nice fit and style, but . . .
I've bought this style of jeans for a number of years, but this time it has taken several washings to get the dye smell out of the jeans fabric. The lighter color version lost its odor after 2 washings and wearing time, but the darker blue jeans still has the dye or manufacturing odor. I even washed them in cold water with white vinegar. I am guessing it will take more washing. Otherwise, I really like the fit of these jeans. I never had the odor problem before.

Perfect
I ended up buying a size smaller than I should because they seem to run large. It is so nice to be wearing jeans again. I love them so much I bought three colors. I also bought medium/tall as the regular were a bit short for me. I am 5’5” and don’t like my ankles showing.

Sytling Has Changed
The elastic waistband styling has changed. It looks pretty dumpy now; it wasn't great before, but it didn't look like some elastic banding I'd sewn myself. Also, the dye rubs off. Labelling tells the consumer to wash the jeans before wearing; I did, but I still had to clean blue off of my leather seats.

I'm very happy with these jeans. I've been looking for similar jeans for quite awhile. One thing I LOVE about them are the POCKETS. They actually are big enough to hold my phone! I am 5'9" 155 lbs. I originally ordered the L Tall but they were actually too bulky for me so I went down to the M Tall and they fit great! They also have a little extra material in the tummy for a pooch.
