Not quality. If you are going to spend over $250 on a boot. Do not get these. Maybe they once were better, but I am not impressed. Some stitching is already pulling out, the leather that connects to the rubber bottom is already separating (glue holding it together), and the leather feels not very genuine. Cheap insulation. Narrow boot.im size 7.5 and ordered a 8. Fit well with two thick socks.

Favorite Boots!Perfect for the snow, mud, or cold days in general! Insulated perfect for cold GA night rides but I wear a pair of the Merino Wool Ragg Socks with a snow day! Perfectly warm! Typically wear a 7.5 size shoe, I got the 7 in these- they fit wonderfully!

They don't make them like they use to!I purchased these boots for my mother in the fall of 2015. The stitching that connects the rubber to the leather started to come unsewn the first season. The 2nd season the stitching came out and the boots weren't wearable. I contacted customer service and asked them to repair/resew the boots, it took them 4 months and 5 phone calls to get the boots resewn and returned to my mother. Two years ago the stitching has come unsewn again. Sadly the boots are now sitting in my mother closet now because she doesn't want to go thru the hassle and the time that it take to send them back. P.S I have a pair of 8" that I have had for over 35 years and the stitching is still good.

Love them!Love these boots. Super lightweight. Super warm. EXTREMELY comfortable. I would imagine if you have very narrow feet that they would feel huge but I have regular medium width feet and i LOVE the comfy space they offer. Also very happy with the neutral brown color because it goes w everything.

100% happy with these bootsThey look good, feel comfy, and keep my feet warm and dry. They were mostly comfy on the first wear, but after about 3 wears, they were perfect. My feet are slightly wide, and I got my normal shoe size. They fit perfectly with normal socks.

Great boot, the 10" thinsulate/gore texIn terms of, sizing is as advertised. For comparison, I wear a men's Nike size 10. This boot in size 10 fits great with a heavy wool sock. I waxed the leather upper and seams, as a waterproof precaution. After fording 2 streams, these boots are completely waterproof.
1st hike was 5km. 2nd hike 13km. Both on muddy, rocky, rooty trails. No break-in required. With boots tightly laced to 3rd from top eyelets, no foot movement in boot. No blisters. Keeping in mind, this is a laceable rubber boot, not a hiking boot, my feet were fine after 13km.
As for tread grip, suitable. It isn't a deep lug. It won't give you the grip deep lugs will. But understanding that, they grip sufficiently.
Overall I have no complaints.
It is by far the nicest "rubber boot" I've ever worn.

These are bombI hesitated in ordering these for a long time because I thought maybe the laces would be difficult or they'd be a pain to put on/take off. I was wrong - as someone who usually reaches for my Le Chameau's, these hunting boots are not that bad to get into or take off AT ALL. Undo the top a little, loosen about halfway down and Bob's your uncle. I'm a 9.5 in almost every shoe so I ordered these in both 9 and 10. I have a narrow foot with a moderately high arch. Sometimes in the winter I like to wear 2 pairs of socks. I can comfortably wear 2 pairs with the 9's. They are super, super comfy. The 10's were just too big all around, even with double socks. The quality on these is apparent. Thick tumbled leather, perfect-weight GoreTex lining, sturdy eye holes. I can see why people keep these 10+ years. They work for so many different scenarios, from the woods to town. I feel dumb I waited so long.
