Loses Waterproofing
So I have had this jacket for a few years, but I don't hunt all that often. It started to leak, so I did what they said and washed and reapplied waterproofing, but it hasn't helped. Now it leaks ever where.

Too bad it isn’t insulated.
I was looking for a late season waterfowl jacket. This is not at all insulated, so I did not keep it. Also tried layering another favorite under it for warmth but couldn’t get the right fit. However it had some great features: the cinchable sleeve cuffs and waistband appear that they would close out water, pockets in the right places, and the nonslip coating on the outside of shoulders are all well done.

Great for women too
I can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this jacket. It has tons of pockets and I like the velcro waistband. The material is durable but not heavy, like a shell, good for layering warmer clothes under. Im 5 foot 11 inches so have trouble finding quality ladies hunting clothes that fit well.

This is field tested by me.
The material is thin, tough, lightweight, waterproof, breathable , and windproof, with the latest seam sealing technology used. Overall appearance, and cut of the jacket is athletic, appropriately sized, allowing for layering underneath. The camouflage pattern is perfect for most waterfowl hunting.
The hood fits well, and is roomy enough to be worn over a water fowler cap, or beanie, and has an adjustable, self retaining elastic drawstring, as well as a small 2 inch bill to keep the rain off your glasses. With the jacket zipped, and hood cinched, the head, and neck are very well covered.
The body of the jacket has a one way waterproof zipper, that tucks under a tab at the neck. The shoulders have a 5 inch, by 6 1/2 inch no slip treatment, that helps with shoulder straps, and keeping your gun mounted during shooting. High on the chest, there are two pockets, about 6x6, with vertical waterproof zippers, 61/2” long, near the midline. High the left chest is a small open pocket with a mesh face, for your (sealed) license, 3x 4.5. The large, 8x7x2 inch front bellows pockets, waist high, have a magnetic closure that is just right; underneath, the main pockets have another fold to keep water out of the second (zip up) bellows pocket; the main pockets also have elastic tabs for three shotgun shells. To the side of the front main bellows pockets are waterproof zippered hand warmer pockets, that put your hands under the main pockets, with your gloves on. The waist is adjustable with a velcro tab on the side. The back waist band is made of a thick neoprene like material to help with the fit, and seal out water. The sleeves are roomy enough for your arms, and another layer, unless you’re pumping lots of iron; and sport velcro adjustable cuffs, with an elastic neoprene like material that helps with fit, and keeps water out, and heat inside. The left upper outer sleeve has a waterproof zip pocket, 4x7; with two shell tubes, with grommet drain holes.
The interior is tough nylon lined, with mesh about the shoulders, and upper chest. There is an interior zip chest pocket on the left 5x6.
All of the zippers have grip tab pulls, for ease of use with gloves on.
The details obviously vouch for the extreme thoughtfulness that went into this jacket’s design. The materials, and manufacture are excellent.

He Loved It!
Ordered this for my son the hunter and he called me several times to tell me how much he loved it. So far he has worn it for duck hunting and he said it is comfortable and well designed! So nice to give a gift that is truly loved!

Great Waterfowl Jacket
I purchased this to hunt waterfowl in Canada. I was looking for an all purpose coat for an entire season in Canada. Being a shell I was able to use it as a dual purpose jacket, early season temperatures, (70) degrees and late season with layers in (35) degree weather. If you are looking for a warm coat this will need under layers so do get one size larger. In the description they show this a tall but I am sure it is a regular due to the length and fit. I am glad I was able to try it on.
It has lots of pockets and I really like the Velcro clinches at the wrists and waist. Very adjustable to keep the cold out. I hunt mainly in a marsh setting so the Shadow Grass pattern was what I was looking for. The hood is an added bonus. For me this jacket checked off all the boxes. Next year I will probably pick up the chest waders that match.
