Actually waterproof with some nice features
This rain jacket is technically terrific. Comfortable, breathable, and definitely waterproof. I especially like he roomy hood that extends far enough in front to shield my eyes when it is actually raining. I ordered up a size for layering and it's just right. However, be cautious about the colors. The first one I ordered was in a color called "Burnt Sienna," which looked more or less pink online. It was actually a very unattractive salmon-orange-brown color that is hard to describe politely. Dull and over-cooked perhaps. The choice of "Burnt Sienna" for the color name is just bizarre. I'm a professional dyer and Burnt Sienna is used for a well-recognized range of colors that does not include pink/orange/dulled down salmon. I replaced the first jacket with one in Navy, which is boring but the jacket works very well.

Too Large for a Petite size
I debated whether to keep the jacket, but I need a rain jacket so I kept. The fit is good and it seems like a quality garment. As always, the sleeves are too long for a petite. I managed to snap them on the 3rd snap and then roll them up. Not ideal but it works okay. As always, the hood is much too large. With the jacket snapped under my chin and the hood up, it comes down below my nose. Not convenient in the rain. I'll see if a seamstress can resize it, but I'm not optimistic.
