Great Jacket!
This is my second jacket in this style. The removable lining makes it warm for cooler weather or turns it into a lighter-weight jacket when it's warmer but rainy; it fits well; the zipper works; and it washes well. The high front collar keeps the hood snug around my head when it's windy.

This is definitely a 5 star jacket!
I bought this jacket to take to Ireland as I wanted something waterproof to take. The jacket was wonderful, we had a couple of days with downpours and it kept me nice and dry. On days it wasn’t raining but was windy kept me nice and warm. It is a great all around fall jacket and raincoat. I love having the ability to remove the liner for the days when it was a little warmer and didn’t need the extra warmth.

Love it.
I love these jackets, but be forewarned, the zippers are a little fragile. I had to exchange because the zipper broke shortly after I purchased it. I hope it was a fluke. The jacket is comfortable, keeps you warm and dry in spring and fall rain.

Versatile, non-bulky, truly waterproof jacket yay!
Need a truly waterproof jacket with some warmth to wear over multiple layers this winter that can stand up to PNW downpours. This was pretty much perfect: well made, lovely deep blue color, removable liner for 3+ season use, front placket zipper plus real snaps instead of sweater/hair/brush snagging velcro. Except that, on my straight-hipped shape, the vent in back stuck straight out. Out of vanity I returned it - a decision I'll likely regret when the cold monsoons start.

Nicely made great hood
Nice raincoat. My last Beans raincoat in black with hood is 24 years old. It’s still good. But I wanted a lighter color we have such long rainy dark winters. The pale lavender is very pale almost a very light silver at a distance unless you are in bright light. More vivid colors would be nice instead of the basic colors always shown. Got a larger size than I really needed because Beans rain coats run small through the hips.

The Perfect Fit
This jacket is as close to perfect as can be. The fit is flattering, the color is rich and the pima loft insulation is perfect for our climate. We haven't had a good rain to test the waterproofing but I suspect it is all that was claimed. I am exceedingly pleased and look forward to enjoying it throughout the fall and winter.
