This is my second pair of these boots. I love them. When shoveling in slippery conditions, these boots have great traction. I buy LL Bean boots for my granddaughters.

Buy the boots!
I’ve been wearing these everyday since I received them over a month ago! Wearing them with work clothes and weekend chill clothes! I’ve only been wearing them with cabin socks. I haven’t worn them without socks. I think these might be Faves!

The best boots ever
The best boots ever! Comfortable, warm and rugged. All the quality I’ve come to expect from LL Bean. My second pair, and the first pair lasted so many years, that I can’t even remember when I purchased them originally.
I’m thrilled that LL Bean still carries them, and hope they always will.
I live in the country, and these boots get plenty of wear. I can wear them all day and actually forget to take them off at the end of the day.
Would highly recommend!

Disappointed: L.L. Bean Boots Haven’t Held Up for
I purchased my L.L. Bean boots back in 2017 specifically for the brutal Buffalo, NY winters. They were a lifesaver at the time, keeping my feet warm and dry through snow and slush. Shortly after, I moved to Denver in the spring of 2018, where winters were milder, so I didn’t rely on them as much. Fashion combat boots were sufficient for most days, though the Bean boots still saw occasional use.
Fast forward six years, and I’m back in Buffalo braving harsh winters again. I was excited to pull out my trusty L.L. Bean boots, but I’ve been pretty disappointed. Even with thick wool socks, my toes are constantly cold, and I’m freezing more than I ever remember. For a product that’s supposed to be known for durability and warmth, they just haven’t held up the way I expected—especially after reading so many glowing reviews.
Unfortunately, I bought mine before the lifetime warranty policy was changed, so exchanging them isn’t an option. While I was once a fan, I wouldn’t recommend these boots for those who need serious, long-term warmth in extreme weather.

great reliable boots
Boots are cozy, waterproof, and very comfortable. For what it is worth, I bought these to replace a prior pair of shearling lined Bean boots that lasted a decade. I'm a happy Bean Boot customer.

Bean Boots
Love these boots! I read they run large. I wear a 7 1/2 so I purchased a size 7M. They fit perfect! We recently moved to a state that snows. I wore them in the snow and was so glad I had them! Highly recommend.
