Not at all like my previous LL Bean Mittens
Bought these in Jan 2023 to back up my old LL Bean mittens that I had for several years. The palm material ripped after less than a month of use, exposing plastic lining . It was as if it was very delicate and just stretching the thumbs to grip something split the fabric. The rest of the glove is fine- just not the palm fabric. So disappointed as all my previous LL Bean gloves have been very durable and water proof. Not these.

Nice mittens, nice price
Very warm. Definitely waterproof; I cleared snow with them and my hands were perfectly dry. Just enough room to add a thin liner if needed. Love the grip texture on the palms.

Nice down mittens
Really nice down mittens. I had worn these in a previous snow storm last week and they were very warm. Not sure of the temperature outside at the time. But yesterday, I was out, once again shoveling snow but the temp was much colder. They did not keep my fingers warm at all. It couldn't have been more than a 5 degree drop from last week to yesterday but it made a very big difference in my comfort level. All in all, though, I do like the mittens. They run a little small and don't work well in about 20 degree weather. But other than that, they are good.
