My husband and I bought down blanket from LLBEAN approximately 14 years ago and still using it. We are very happy with the purchase: blanket still in great shape, fluffy, warm, remains the same after each wash for so many years. In 2022, for Christmas I decided to buy down blankets for all kids as a Christmas gift in hope that they will use them for many years. They all live in different states, so I was able to visit my son last Christmas, and I was not happy with the look of the blanket: many empty shells, completely flat, my down blankets that I bought from other stores (that cost much less expensive) look more presentable! So, LLBEAN, what is going on with the quality of the blankets!? These are very expensive blankets (I bought 3), but I am not satisfied with the quality, very disappointed.

Not the fluffiest
Not as fluffy as I was anticipating/hoping. I didn't got as far as putting in the dryer with dryer balls, or giving it the full time to fluff. But after a couple hours it didn't seem promising. I like the very fluffy duvets.

Overall very nice, would like more pouf
It’s not as fluffy as I had hoped it would be. I’ve had it a few weeks and it keeps puffing up, so perhaps it will get fluffier still. Knowing what I know now, I would likely have ordered the “warmer” vs “warm” to get more fluffiness and risk it feeling too warm.
The fabric itself is substantial and has quickly softened — in a good way! The construction seems sound. The size is terrific! Queen size is long and wide enough for some nice drape, but not too long.
Overall it’s very well made, just was hoping for greater rise and more pouf.
