Good quality & comfort
I would recommend these slacks, they’re very comfortable, the waist is great. I bought petite to wear with sneakers, they’re gd when standing but too short sitting. I really take a regular length. I kept them.

The fit for me is disappointing. I think the rise is not quite long enough and the pockets do bulge out a bit as an earlier reviewer noted. While the idea is good, in my experience, the earlier version with elastic in the back of the pants worked better. I also like a slightly tapered pant better.

Very weird fit!
These pants fit so strangely around the waist and butt. The pockets are also very strange - super long. It’s hard to explain the strange fit, but, for me - even without the “comfort waist elastic engaged” there is a bulge on the sides and a gap between the fabric where the pockets are where I can actually feel my skin under the pants when I put my hands in the pockets. Not sure what ll bean is thinking with the redesign of these pants - bring back the favorite fit bayside twill pants!!!
