This is a great coffee table book for all L.L. Bean lovers. Great historical information about Mr. Bean, the company and the products over the years. Beautifully illustrated timelines and historical events. History on specific L.L. Bean products with photos and old catalog pictures.

A Landmark And A Triumph
got this because i have shopped at L.L Bean for many years now and wanted to see what all happened to make it the way it is now.
this is a good read for times when I'm feeling down or depressed or worried about life issues to get my mind on something else and to try to remind me that there were others in this world who overcame challenges and grew stronger in the end.
hope this book will continue to be made for many years to come because it looks better and better the more i read it.
hope that L.L Bean continues to be the good and virtuous family business that it was and still is.
a very fine and good documentary here.
it also tells you details and secrets about the business that you may have not known already, even if you have been their customer for years.

Very Nice Book
We keep this book in our rental cottage in Maine and it is perfect for a casual glance or an extended read. Lots of vintage memorabilia, photos, and stories from the wonderful LL Bean history. Very nice.
