pockets are odd from
The addition of the pockets is inexplicable.
This is (or was) an absolutely great sweater. You could wear it in many contexts - business meeting, date, casual family gathering, many work environments.
But LL Bean added the front pockets that make this look like a bizarre combination of a gym sweatshirt and an elegant sweater. Simply bizarre decision.

Nice sweater when you need casual business.
Very comfortable. Looks nice enough to wear as casual business dress. Washing and drying instructions recommendations make it an item that needs special attention as it has to be washed gentle in cold water and air dried as would be done with other sweaters. Warm for its light weight. Easy to pack and wear when traveling
