Best mittens ever
These mittens are the only things that keep my hands comfortable in cold weather. My first pair lasted more than a decade before I lost them!

Thumbs way too long on Chopper mittens.
Thumb on both mittens was too long, preventing effective use of thumbs when wearing the choppers. .

Don't hesitate!
Bought these for my son whose hands are usually quite cold. He told me these are THE BEST gloves/mittens he's ever had. The wool is pretty soft and the inside mitten may be removed. The leather is like butter.

Warm Mittens update from Wisconsin
Ok update. Today it is 9 degrees F with a negative 10 deg wind chill. While snow blowing for about 20 minutes my hand just started getting cold near the end. Once I started shoveling for another 20 minutes my hands were very warm.

Warm mittens
I bought these last year but it was never snowy or cold enough here in Wisconsin to test them out. But this week we had a lot of snow and cold and here are my results.
- Two days ago it was just above freezing but lots of wet snow to shovel. The mittens were very warm but did let some water into to wool liner.
- One day ago snow again and 23 degrees. While Snow blowing and shoveling my hands were nice and warm the whole time.
- today it is around zero with a negative wind chill. While shoveling again for about an half hour my hands were warm (not toasty) the entire time.
With any other gloves I have owned from LL Bean or others my hands would always be cold. In today’s zero degrees I would have need hand warmers. But not with chopper mittens.
