Questioning if quality has been maintained over thPurchased this to replace an older (More than 6 years old) LL Bean Hammock. Chain link dimensions are narrower making it difficult to hang on previously mounted hooks from Beans.
Not sure why, but hammock hangs several inches higher as well. At twice the cost of other brands, we had hoped that replacing an LL Bean Hammock with the same wooden cross bar length and total length would match the quality of the older hammock. We do not feel it does. Bean Bucks helped cover 50% of our costs so out of pocket was equal to other brands was equal for us, so we will keep it.

GarbageBought a new one to replace the one I had for 14 years and it barely lasted two summers before it fell apart. Garbage!

very disappointingThis was our third hammock in many many years. We have loved them and worn them out. But the hardware on this one is not the right size for our current old but very serviceable LL Bean hammock stand. LL Bean may get an additional $300 for a new stand but we are NOT happy.

Rope hammock gone amuck.I love the look but when I laid on it some of the knots popped open and left a big gap. I had to check all of the knots and had to tighten ALL of them. I liked the 100 percent cotton one better than this polyester version. It lasted for years.

Same great hammockThis is our second soft poly double hammock from L.L.Bean. We bought our first one about 20 years ago, it wore out, (no surprise after 20 years!) We were happy to find the same product available because the internet is loaded with inferior and overpriced hammocks. This one is a true 60 inches wide, and well made. The knots were a bit uneven at first, but the hammock stretches to its true dimensions and evens out with use.
