Best boots now
I bought these boots 3 years ago but at the time did nit wear them much because they hurt my feet. The leather tongue bent and was stiff digging into my feet and the leather on the ankles creased digging into my legs. Over time they broke in, flattened out and got more soft and supple. It took a long time but it was worth it. They have been my best boots and really comfortable for the past few years. I leave them by my front door and just slip them on barefoot whenever I take the dog out.

I own a booth that made in Maine yipeee!. Nice booth, u think thats hard to wear but its not(comfortable) . I shld order the insulated one for winter days 😞 😓

Great fit with Narrow width
Great boot one of the few boots that come in a narrow width. I have other styles as well all because LL Bean is the only ducker style that comes in a narrow width

Disappointed/Returned boots
Returned as I could not even slip the boot on my foot. I’m not even sure if I could have put the boot on even if the boot had laces vs. being a slip on. Disappointed. NOTE: I had to mark length & width in order to submit the review. I have no idea how the length & width fit because I COULD NOT PUT THE BOOT ON.

Wide feet and high instep don't order down a size
The boot construction and look is great but having a high instep on my feet makes it hard to get the boots on. Otherwise the boot is a 5 star.
