Our legendary Maine-made Bean Boot. Built for the road less traveled by "L.L." himself in 1912 and keeping feet comfortable ever since.
Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these. Our signature boots are still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair they make. As rugged and hardworking as they were over 100 years ago, chances are you'll only ever need one pair.
- Waterproof full-grain leather upper sheds rain and snow.
- Lace-up design provides secure and customizable fit. Laces not waterproof.
- Waterproof rubber boot bottom keeps feet dry.
- Legendary chain-tread outsole gives reliable traction.
- Iconic triple-needle stitching provides long-lasting durability.
- Uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
- Not designed to stay submerged in water.
- Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions.

Love them!
I wanted a boot that I could wear in snow and also would look cute. I ordered the 8 narrow. I would say my foot is probably an 8.5 to 9. The 8 narrow fit good, I probably could have ordered a 9 narrow and still have it fit good with socks. No lining in these and I plan to wear warm socks. I may add a cozy insert but not sure if I will need it. We got a ton of snow this weekend so tested them. They are waterproof! And the grip is good. The leather is a little stiff but it will soften up with wear. The narrow is harder to get on I think but I have very small ankles and narrow feet. The price is great too! I don’t like my feet to get too warm so I think this is perfect as you can wear in fall and winter with warm socks and maybe a winter insert. Love these are made in Maine and the note from the boot maker was nice to see included.

I always wanted a pair!
After reading a review that a lady with foot isdues like mine found them delightfully comfortable. I thought i would finally try a pair. Oh, they are heavenly! I bought a full size down. Very good with a wide variety of my socks.

Too small
The site said to buy a smaller size than usual which I did. The shoes were too small so I returned them.

Love my Bean boots!
My previous 6" Bean boot I have had for over 20 years. I purchased this pair because they are navy instead of brown. I plan to keep my old ones but I will add this one to the rotation. I ordered one size down from my normal size and it fits. I purchased a size 7(women's) in a wide when I normally wear and 8 or 8.5 (women's) size.

Keep my feet warm, dry, and fashionable!
Bought my first pair of Bean Boots early in the year, unable to resist the beautiful green and purple color combo available at the time. I’m not a particularly patient person, so at first I found the process of getting them on and off to be somewhat frustrating—but I did get the hang of it eventually! They’ve been a delight to wear in wet weather, keeping my feet totally dry, warm, and looking cute. I’ve also found them to be surprisingly comfortable and supportive; I don’t know that I’d wear them on a long hike or anything, but they’ve been great for tromping around the city. I definitely recommend these, just prepare for a bit of a learning curve, and keep an eye out for unique colors in addition to the classics!
