Moccasins
The moccasins themselves are fine, but the laces are a real problem. The laces are cut very short when manufactured so they can not be tied tight because they are too short. Also, it is virtually impossible to double knot them to prevent them from coming undone.. The laces always come un-tied constantly needing to be retied.

The flannel lining does hold up.
Over the years I have had multiple pairs of these LL Bean slippers. I do love them. They are very comfortable and the leather as well as the soles are almost indestructible. Why then rate them just three stars? Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the flannel lining. Within months the lining in each pair began to show wear and and eventually wore through. If not for the lining I would have rated them 5 stars.

Nice but need improvement
My husband has been wearing these for years. They are nice slippers but do not hold up more than a year on him. They could be better constructed. Pricey for the length of wear.

Bad fit
As advised, I ordered a half size up but they were way too long and very narrow. So narrow that I didn’t trust reordering a size down. All wide options are apparently out of stock. The leather smelled great, though, and I think I would have loved them if they had only fit.
