Great jeans, crazy sizing
These pants are incredibly warm! Wearing them every day. But as a 5’6” woman weighing 130 pounds I tried a P6 first- too small, P8 still too small. Ended up with a P10.

Well made, and while I will go ahead and recommend, it comes with caveats:
the waist is awfully snug.
I really think they need to go back and look at their specifications and redesign these. I have a pair of unlined size 12 high rise that fit fine, but these are too tight. I think I would have had to buy a 14, but then the hips and thighs would have been extremely baggy.
These could work for a certain body type, but not mine.

Weird fit, thin lining
Waist way too tight, everything else baggy. Lining so thin as to be useless. Sent back. Not the flannel lined jeans I remember.

Waist is Way too small
I originally bought these in a size 8P which is what I've been wearing in every other brand (since I lost 30 pounds). The waist was way too small. I had high hopes for the right sized waist if I got a larger size so I returned them for a 10P. The waist is still too small but I'm not returning them again because they would then be way too baggy everywhere else and I'd have to pay yet another shipping fee. I'll have to see if I can get them altered. I'd like to know, LLBean, what models you use for your sizing? Highly disappointing as other brands no longer carry flannel lined, but FLEECE lined, which is too hot unless it's below zero. I've never had a problem before.

Wish they were warmer
Purchased these to replace a pair from another brand that no longer fit. The LLB pair are definitely “mom jeans” in the cut/fit, the high rise is great, and they are super comfy, but the flannel lining is barely noticeable. It’s not thick flannel, seems more like a pillowcase weight fabric, and doesn’t seem to add any warmth to the jeans.

Weirdest waist sizing ever
I should have trusted the reviews re: the sizing on these otherwise soft denim, flannel-lined jeans. I wear a 12 in every LL Bean pair of shorts and pants I’ve ever bought. These lined jeans were a 12, but I swear a size 8 in the high waist. And yes the thighs are on the baggy side; however, I may have been able to live with that if I could have zipped these closed…. not even close. Now I'm scolding myself for paying for shipping to my house and back to LL Bean.

Good quality
I have extra tall hips - from crotch to top of hips...so these fit me well (they are not wedgie high waisted). Outer and lining are 100% cotton...so breathable, soft and not itchy. Yes, the style is an 80s style, but I'm ok with that - they are comfortable because they're not painted on to your skin. I like that there is no distressing - rips, holes, tears : D
