Leather as thin as tissue
Not nearly as well made as before. My wife has been wearing this model for decades. I got these for her for Christmas. Compared to the 5 year old pair in her closet, the leather on these is tissue thin. I expect better from LLBean!

They ruined a good thing
I always loved this particular slipper, until this purchase. They have added a tag, which is into the seam and can't be pulled off. Wearing them in bare feet is very uncomfortable. Why would they ruin an otherwise great product?

Toes Completely Toasty
Love! Totally cozy, with a thick enough sole to occasionally wear outdoors to get mail or drive to do a quick errand. Brought them for long weekend in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and my toes are completely toasty.

I usually love LL Bean products but alas, these slippers only lasted three weeks before the suede on one slipper ripped for no reason. Too, the shearling quickly wore down and the chestnut color is extremely prone to stains. Not LL Bean's best work!

Favorite slippers ever!
I have owned many pairs over the last 25 years! I've worn them since I was a teenager!
They are so cozy and warm! When I buy a new pair, I retire the old pair to being my "outdoor" slippers and wear them everywhere! They hold up amazingly and unlike other popular (and more expensive) brands, they have 100% wool inside! The absolute best.

Really are wicked good slippers
I doubt that anyone has bought more of these slippers than I have. At one time they came in gray and brown which I still have. LLBean, PLEASE bring back the gray. Many people wear black yoga pants and the gray is very complimentary. I especially love how these form to your foot and do not get hung up on pant legs. Love them!!
