Could be better insulated.
These are well made boots. But, not as insulated as they should be. If you want nicely insulated boots that will keep your feet warm, go for the GORETEX/Insulated boots.

Great investment!
An investment for what I hope is the rest of my life! Got these the day before a big snow storm, and they worked like a charm. Kept me warm and dry, and were comfortable to wear (still need to be broken in a bit). Thankful I got them when I did!

Great Made in USA product
Love this boot, and we specifically were interested because fair price for a Made In USA item. My wife preferred the older style insulation versus the newer inserts. We followed the website advice and bought one size down which fit perfectly

Insulated?
I bought these insulated boots because my wife has had the 6" uninsulated boots for years but they aren't that warm. When we received these insulated boots I couldn't believe how they were made. I didn't see any difference in the ones she already had except for the height. They both have a fabric lining in the rubber part but that's all. They have no insulation, the leather upper is unlined. If you call a boot insulated it should have Thinsulate, wool, Sherpa or something to keep your feet warm. The box is marked insulated. They were also smaller than the old ones she has. I'd think they would be the same. These are going to be returned. Very disappointed!
