We've improved our most popular duffle, loved since 1996 for its travel-tough durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access. New 70L size is one of our most versatile, and added by customer request.
Introducing our best-ever Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening, more comfortable shoulder strap and a new storage pouch you can use as a packing cube while traveling. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 70L bag uses 27 plastic bottles.
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Spot clean.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points.
- Features small L.L.Bean logo on either side of bag and shoulder strap.

GREAT BUY
I bought this bag to use for small trips where I can get away with only taking a change of clothes and accessories while still having room for adding other items if needed. Very nice duffle bag made out of LLB's normal quality material. Zipper's open/close smoothly. Carrying handle and shoulder strap are comfortable to use. Overall, very impressed with this bag.

4–1/2 star duffel bag
I have the old style duffels and love them so I thought I would try this with the new zipper style. Seems a bit clumsier to open than the full length zipper especially when not full but it is also nice to have the flap style lid if getting a jacket out of it outdoors in snowfall or rain. So…some may like this better but I can’t honestly say it matters to me yet.
I like that it uses recycled plastics.
I will say that it would be improved with compression straps like the old style bags. That’s my half star. Otherwise a quality duffel.
