Not like they used to be.
I bought these and they are quite comfortable. They were purchased as the only slippers currently available that were 100% biodegradable, but after the stitching in the front of my old pair (purchased 3 years ago) wore out, I found there is a foam pad between the inner lining and outer sole.
These are not as nice or as long lasting as the original slippers I got 15 years ago that would still be wearable if my Macaw had not chewed up one of the pair. It had a hard leather sole and was very long wearing without the addition of the foam. Totally recyclable. The next time I will probably just get the rubber sole as neither is without none chemically processed materials.

I feel like a rich man
I’m not rich, not even close but I wanted a good pair of slippers. I was willing to pay a premium. Little did I know that these slippers would make me feel like a rich man. They are the softest most comfortable slippers I’ve ever worn. They are Everything I wanted to spend my hard earned money on. I wear a size 13, I ordered a size 13 and they fit perfect. I work hard for my money and I am glad I bought these.

Too Small
Purchased a mens size 9 for my mother (age 84). The slippers are so small she can't get them on. Fits like a women's size 9.
