An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Good quality flannel robe
This robe is warm and comfortably sized for a morning lounger. The flannel is soft and the plaid color is perfect for my guy. I had it monogrammed as a special gift because he will enjoy it for many years.

It's not turquoise, but it's soft and cozy.
It's not turquoise! It's navy plaid, which was disappointing. But it's a great robe, warm and cozy. So it stayed. I ordered the men's size M because the women's colors were boring to me, and it fits fine. I like the shorter length - just below my knees, instead of mid calf, like the women's. I'm 5'10.
