Button Re-Examination
Allow me to withdraw my previous critique of the button sewing. The thread used is woven like a good shoelace but smaller. I'd guess you could land a 20 pounder with this fiber. I've worn this to two holiday events and got rave reviews. I've been searching for the ALLSPICE color for quite a while. I predict that like APPLE CINNAMON LLBean will find that this color will have long term appeal as it works with so well with several popular workwear brands. The clay, saddle tan, barley (Chamois) palette makes for a good look. I misted mine and ironed using the very lowest setting that would just create steam. Be careful with the 1% Spandex. Looks great with slight mottling of moleskin. The deep, flap-less pockets with pen cavity are much appreciated as I always carry a pen and index cards (a product designer thing). A real keeper. Thanks LLB.

Burnt Mahogany Color Was Not Same as Pictured
I bought this for my boyfriend, and when it arrived, I saw that it was not the same color I was hoping for. In the picture, it is totally different. In person, it is more like a dark regular maroon. Kinda sad about that, to be honest! But it does seem soft, and I hope he likes it.

Good shirt
This shirt restores my faith in LL Bean. It fit well. It’s warm and comfortable. I can wear it tucked in or outside my pants. After washing & drying it’s about wrinkly, but I don’t care much about it.
