DOES NOT LAST - STUFFED WITH STUFF THAT ISN'T DOWN
I bought this coat for my husband a few years ago, and I just want to let shoppers know that this coat looks nice at first, but DOES NOT LAST and is stuffed with something that IS NOT DOWN. Last winter, the coat literally burst and out came something that looked like shredded newspaper confetti! It got everywhere, such than an embarrassing mess trailed us for the rest of that winter. I am now trying to find a better quality coat for my husband, and wanted to take a few minutes to warn shoppers about the LLBean Baxter State Parkas. I imagine the women's version has the same quality issues as the men's.

Tremendously warm and durable
Very warm and well-constructed. I anticipate many years of service. One suggested minor improvement would be to use larger hardware on the waistband cinch cords - they can't really be adjusted when wearing gloves.

This one is for my son, he’s a big guy, Got a tall he’s 6’ 5. Arrived and quality is as mine, bought years ago as expected. Purchased for outdoor in Midwest winter.

Excellent Mens Down Parka!
I bought this parka for my domestic partner. I read reviews on all down jackets available. This one had a very nice 5 star review, so I took a chance. He really likes it. The fit is perfect for him. And the ability to cinch in the waist is a nice feature. We get snow and cold where we live in Arizona. He loves the outdoors and will enjoy the parka on cold days and eveninngs...

Warm in Arctic circle
I bought this coat last year for a trip to northern Finland in December. Kept me warm for hours on end in well below freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall, when worn with mid and base layer.
