Material is wonderful quality. Boxy shape and good length (even for a slightly overweight/apple person). But, just like stated elsewhere, the stitching of the kangaroo pocket creates a very odd pucker right in the most distracting place over the stomach. Creates a poor sight line. :(

So many compliments, so cozy.
Bought this in both the navy and grey last month. When it first arrived I wasn’t sure, (why did I buy two, how will I wear these?) but after figuring out how to style it with jeans and how to snap the buttons just enough to look cool and casual I absolutely love it. The sweater is soft, warm and has great pockets. It’s heavy and thick but not stiff in a bulky way. Definitely my new fav all around sweater. I am 5’8” and about 145lbs and wear a large and the fit was perfect. I’ve worn this for walks, hikes, international travel and to the office. It works with jeans, chinos as well as sweatpants. stylish and is versatile and super functional piece for Fall and Winter. Every time I wear this sweater someone goes out of their way to say “oh I love your sweater.” Thanks LL Bean!

Great look, bad execution
I agree with another reviewer about the kangaroo pocket. It is tacked to the sweater in the top middle of the pocket creating a noticeable dent which is even worse when you use the pocket. I ordered the gray, and the styling with the chocolate trim and snaps is great, but the pockets should have been separate and not kangaroo to avoid the need to stitch it right in the middle of the sweater. Although I prefer natural fibers, this was very soft and seemed like it would be warm. I ordered a small and think I could go down a size for a trimmer fit. I am a 32DD with a 28" waist.

Beautiful sweater
This sweater is beautifully made, soft and comfortable. I have not had the chance to wear it as the weather is not cold enough, but I’m certain this will keep me warm on a cold day outside. I love the color and style of this sweater.
