Front sticks out at the bottom
Sadly, I'm returning this sweater. It's soft and comfortable, and while I like a high-low look, this sweater doesn't lay flat in front; it sticks out and looks unflattering. I'm 5'1, 115 pounds, and the S petite was the correct size.

Dropped shoulder crewneck
Excellent quality, however I thought I was ordering same style crewneck as last year. Liked the outside shoulder seam. Not keen on dropped shoulder of this sweater. Will keep it hoping other style will be available & then make exchange

Great fabric, questionable design
The thickness of this sweater is wonderful. The hi-lo hem is not to my liking. It’s too short in the front and just doesn’t look right. If you make it with the split side seams, then make the front and back the same length. Otherwise it is great fabric. Nice and thick, without the outside seams for the sleeve attachment in past versions.

I got this in gray to go with Bean's classic wool sweater, which is blue/gray and they go together well. This pullover is soft, warm and well made.

Great texture, but cut is too "trendy"
I ordered two of these sweaters and love the texture (very soft) and weight of the fabric. They look good on today with high-waisted jeans, but in a few years I think the dropped shoulder seams, boxy cut, and asymmetrical hemline will feel very dated, so I returned them. I come to LL Bean for classics and this just doesn't seem like one that will stand the test of time.

I have tried. Been wearing this sweater. The colors and the fabric are just great. It is so well made. BUT, the cut and design are awful. The only women looking good in this sweater are skinny with a small chest and a flat stomach. The front rides up a lot. Tucking it in front of pants is a challenge because of my chest and stomach. Makes me look bigger. I’m 5’6” and weigh 155. What a shame. Just know the cut will ride up in front a lot. Looks like a two size difference from front to back. Like the pieces got switch when it was sewn.
