huge amount of white pills
I expected better from llbean.com. The 14 percent polyester leaks out of the jacket in long, stretchy, white fibers that pill up and stick together so it looks like there are cobwebs on the jacket.

Nice Transitional Jacket
This is a nice well-made jacket, ideal for spring/fall weather. It has a generous fit. I have not washed it yet, so I don’t know if it will shrink. I usually wear a small or medium in Bean clothing. I bought this in a small, and it is almost too big, but again, it could shrink a bit. I wish there was a secured, zip pocket for phone, keys, etc.

glad I this, but there is room for improvement
love the green color. The horizontal ribbing pattern gives interest to this item. Suggestion: put zipper closure on each pocket so items don't fall out. How about a wind proof version?

Heavier than expected
I've just begun to wear this as it was too hot in Virginia. Other reviewers say it is light weight; I consider it a heavier weight, but I am hoping it breathes more than fleece does. It's a little too heavy for me to want to wear indoors. I love the dark green color, and the fit is just right for me, either zipped or unzipped. The sleeves are a bit long however; I have them flipped over about an inch. It falls at my hip.
