Good quality except for zipper
I have had at least three of these - maybe four. One I ruined by getting paint on it. The others all had zippers that didn't last two years. I love the coat itself - perfect for winter recess duties and outings - and long enough to keep upper legs warm. The two-way zipper makes it easy to sit in the car, but it is not a quality zipper. Mine have broken during cold spells so I couldn't wait to have it sent off to be repaired, and Bean's no longer replaces anything past one year of purchase date. Trying to decide if I want to invest in another one.

Wanted it to work
I have this coat in green from 10 years ago. It still looks brand new. Great coat in every way! I was happy to get a new one since the old one may be showing wear someday. Got the same Small/Regular. Sizing was "off". I tried quite a few times to make it work by going to different sizes and even petite. The fabric has a plastic feel to it and has a stiff, bulky look. I really like the burgundy color, and wonder is it just the fabric in this color?

Beyond warm
I bought this coat last year so this is my second winter with this fantastic coat. Throughout this cold winter this coat proved over and over again how warm and comfortable it made me feel each time I wore it which was practically every day. A great coat for a great price. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking comfort and warm and style.,

Wonderfully warm - not awkwardly bulky
Perfect for the cold without being too bulky. When temps weren't getting up to freezing in NC, I needed more than my barn coat with layers under it - but did not want to wear something so puffed out I would look like a balloon. This coat is warm in the teens with wind, without being too bulky.

Womens Winter Warmer Coat
The coat was very nice quality. I didn't like the velcro at the wrists, much too large and odd shaping at the hips. I returned the coat.
