We've improved our most popular large duffle, loved since 1996 for its travel-tough durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access.
Introducing our best-ever Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening, more comfortable shoulder strap and a new storage pouch you can use as a packing cube while traveling. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 95L bag uses 29 plastic bottles.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Spot clean.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Adjustable, removable shoulder strap has improved sliding design with wider symmetrical padding.
- Redesigned storage pouch can be used as a packing cube while traveling, and to store duffle between uses.
- Features L.L.Bean mountain graphic logo on either side of bag and logo on shoulder strap.
- Compression straps with side-release buckles help stabilize contents.

I bought this bag to replace a bag that is at least 10 years old and after receiving this new bag it just seems very cheap. I probably will just keep using the old one.

What happened?
Our family has several of these for adventures and summer camp. I came here to get our youngest his first one and I am so disappointed. What is with the giant logo all over it? And why has the design changed so much.
