This is not your Pullman of old
Using a Pullman for 15 years and the best bag I’ve had it broke and I sincerely regret trading it in, this has no external shoe pocket, the pockets are too small on the outside and not enough pockets for a serious traveler, the sippers are micro seam and will break I can already hear the teeth in the zipper pausing. This is not a serious global travel bag, it’s cheap and a failure of follow up from the original Pullman.

Regrets
What can I say? You know that “durable plastic foot used for stability” piece at the base? Well that completely snapped off after my third flight. Basically non functional in its present condition. It had the potential to be a
great piece of luggage otherwise.

Compact and well constructed
Well constructed bag, the straps across are well protected by a long loops for longer wear and tear. The handle grip is wide and substantial with a meshed style grip. The wheels worked well and overall dimensions are a little larger than competitive small travel suitcases.

15 years ago I had the same type LL Bean bag. It lasted 12 years. Got another one. It lasted 4 years until the main zipper broke. When this one arrived the quality was so noticeably less that i returned it. A once incredible brand has been wrecked.

Already ripped an interior seam!
I bought this in Mid-June (this review is on July 23). This bag has been on only 2 trips and I noticed when packing up at the end of my second trip that a seam has already ripped on the inside of the bag. Super disappointing. I travel often and have never ripped a seam before.
I like the features so i would recommend to a friend. I’m hopeful i just received a defective item.

Too small
I was looking to replace my current carry on, but this bag was too small. First of all, the wheels are included in the length. Therefore, you lose a few inches of storage space. Secondly, it states the width is 15 inches and it is actually only 13 inches. I travel a lot and need as much capacity as possible in my carry on. I returned it.
