Could be better
The elastic waist is weak and the tie doesn't comfortably hold up the pants. Added a elastic dord in place of the tie which solves the slip down problem.

Sun washed pants
L L Bean 's trousers have an unfortunate low rise. That should be addressed. The size of these pants was increased and have yet to be worn. Fabric is good, fit is fine (better with a longer rise) Actually purchased another pair (1st pair was olive- looks great- 2nd pair- tan...not so good) but returned them.

Great Versatile Pants
These are great, versatile pants. Could be work to a casual day at the office or with a t-shirt for a day lounging, traveling, whatever. I read one review that said they are too heavy for summer but I disagree. In fact, if there was a heavier version I’d love it. I usually wear a size 34 waist pant and the large is perfect.

Great Pants
Exactly what I was looking for. Great weekender pants. Go straight from lounging to out for lunch. They are a true straight fit. Some reviews say “roomy” but I wouldn’t describe them that way. It’s a true straight leg, no taper, classic look. I usually wear a 34 waist and ordered the large. Perfect fit.
