Great Vest.
I live this vest. It’s not to warm. I have a down vest but it’s often to warm. This vest is perfect it cuts the wind, very light and nice looking. I purchased an extra one.
I wish they would do one with the green rain forest like I saw under another LL Bean jacket

Gives a nice layer of warmth!
Great vest! It's very lightweight and provides a nice layer of warmth. In the winter there's a room in my house that has outside walls on 3-sides. When I wear the vest over a plaid shirt, the vest makes the difference in keeping me warm. When I'm outside in a mild day with a light breeze, the vest also works well. When I travel and need to pack for wide-ranging temps, I'll wear the vest under my jacket and notice the difference in staying warm.

My weatherproof vest.
Just the additional layer I need when the jacket isn’t enough or may not be sufficient later in the day. It’s very lightweight, but it blocks any wind or wet that may make its way past my top layer, It should work well over a fleece hoodie on warmer days.

Very thin vest.
Very disappointed. Very thin and no fleece to speak of. I have bought wool vest's from ll bean before and they performed well, this one not so much, might be good for light protection.
