Nobody does it better!
My son is a busy college professor and I had this bag monogrammed for him to carry his miscellaneous books and supplies on campus. It is really good looking and sturdy. No one makes canvas tote bags better than Beans!

Fabulous bag!
This bag in black screams style in a laid back manner. I got this monogrammed with Lucerne Blue in the script style. I am SO happy with this purchase and shout out to Barbara who handcrafted this for me - I had no idea that’s how Bean makes their bags!

Beautiful bag- had to have one!
I got the gold toned one for a friend who just became a “Nonna” got it monogrammed like the prior reviewer. The bag is so high end, and sturdy that I had to get my own ( . I like the taller sides and snap top. Mine has the navy bottom and i got my initials.. not a Nonna yet.. lol

Tote bag
I would have given it five stars but It doesn’t come with shoulder straps like my older one did. Plus it’s just a tad bit bigger than my old one which was the perfect size. Apparently they don’t make that size anymore. Besides that it’s still a good bag.

Great bag for everyday to tote around for shopping
Study, lightweight and securely holds contents inside without flopping over. I chose the color black and originally wanted a zippered closure but happy enough with the strap snap closure. The bag is wide but also deep so harder to lose items out of bag. It's a great everyday bag for shopping or carrying items neatly around public transit or car. There is no key fob or interior pocket with bag. I use the name tag sewn on front of bag to hold keys to easily grab before heading out the door. Bag is quite sturdy and does not collapse easily or flop over. I like the look in black which is perfect for New York lifestyle. I like the bag so much that I ordered another one in navy with a zippered top, also in medium.
