I wanted to love this coat, but...
I wound up returning it. The fit was a little snug, and I could have exchanged up to the next larger size. But the problem was the hood. I live in rainy Seattle, so a functional hood is essential in a winter coat here. While it's great that some coats are designed for safety-conscious skiers who wear helmets, the ginormous hood just wasn't going to work for my everyday use. But if you're one of those skiers, cyclists, or others that need to wear a helmet in cold weather, you'd probably really like this coat.

update on my April 11 2025 review
A few things....first, a workaround for the zipper issue. If you pull up both zippers, leaving the bottom zipper 6-8 inches from the bottom, it is easy to bring the zipper down to where you want it. It's just that it will snag if you try to zip it up after the top zipper is zipped up. Second, I agree with another reviewer that the sizing is off. A men's medium is usually plenty large for me and this jacket is barely big enough-not sure I'll be able to layer underneath it. Third, a suggestion and a wish for future versions; it would be really nice to be able to zip off the hood since it will only work if you're wearing a helmet (otherwise it looks totally goofy). And it would be great to be able to buy, perhaps at an add-on price, a normal hood.

Zipper issues
Others have brought this up too. The bottom part of the two way zipper doesn’t work well. The jacket is designed so it’s constantly getting snagged in fabric. The jacket also doesn’t seem like it would be especially warm but I haven’t tested it in sub 25 degree weather yet.

Wildcat not what it says
Sizing is terrible . Per your guide I am a perfect large and this large jacket was tight in chest, shoulders and arms and body . I could never have warn a fleece under this coat . Very disappointing to say the least !
