A seriously soft and substantial crewneck sweatshirt in a long-lasting cotton/polyester blend. Our heavyweight fabric is brushed on the inside for an extra-cozy feel.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

The PERFECT sweatshirt.
This is the same sweatshirt you made twenty-five years ago. The one that is made to last! I have returned so many of the newer versions, which I know will not hold up to years of use.
I’m so thrilled this quality item has made a comeback. Please add a greater colour selection so I may purchase one in every colour.

My favorite sweatshirt
Since discovering the tall fits at LLBean I have been slowly replacing my wardrobe. I am 6'4" and weigh 300 lbs. I have always struggled to find clothes that fit me in a way that doesn't look awkward on my large frame. But this sweater fits so comfortably and is actually flattering. I plan to buy more in different colors.

Too costly
I bought this a few years ago and it was 20 dollars cheaper. I have lost quite a bit weight so I needed a smaller size I found out today that it had gone up approx 20 dollars. It is a great shirt but 75 dollars is way too high. LL Bean will be gone under soon. Sad
