Runs small
I found this jacket on the sale rack. I was fortunate there were several sizes available. It runs about 1.5 sizes smaller. Beautiful color and alot of features.

Warm enough but not bulky
I purchased this jacket for a specific purpose - to stay warm while teaching cross country skiing. I needed a jacket that was not too bulky so I did not sweat but warm enough to keep me from getting cold while standing around a lot. The hood is perfect for those windy and bitter days here in upstate New York. I like all the pockets on the jacket to store hand warmers, snacks and etc. The extra length in the back is nice to cover my rear too.

Love it !!
Fit and style are exactly as I had hoped. I have other LL bean jackets and the size is true for me. Loads of pockets.

Acceptable ski jacket, not so flattering
The coat is short in the front but just cuts at the waist wrong. I am 5 feet tall and 110lbs, ordered a M petite and it just sits too high but is too long in the back. The color blocking is unflattering and creates a widening effect when combined with the short front. It does have a generous hood to fit over my helmet, and plenty of interior pockets. It is also adequately waterproof. It’s a fine ski shell but I don’t love it.

Great with 1 fault
Love the jacket for its warmth and windbreaking ability. Only downfall I see is the zipper - it is hard to zip up and seems like it is going to break or get stuck when zipping it up and this is on a brand new coat.

Ski jacket?
I bought this for skiiing. I and am disappointed it doesn’t have a zipper pocket on the left arm for my ski pass. Also the hood doesn’t fit a helmet that I can tell. Love the color, just missing the functionality…great jacket for general winter warmth and play.

Almost great
Before purchasing this I read many other reviews. I have worn my jacket a week, and I understand the zipper being finicky. Im ver deliberate with it, so it’s been ok so far. The sleeve size is not proportional to the rest of the jacket- they are narrow. The bust area is also smaller. I went up a size to be sure and I can layer a fleece vest under, but not a puffy- because of the sleeves. I love the color and style. Here’s hoping it lasts a long time. It’s replacing a 26 yr old LLBean synthetic jacket.

Great!
Just wore this jacket for a skiing weekend and it was perfect. Never got cold and it has great pockets. Also loved the color because my friends could find me.
