Our heritage-inspired striped shirt jac is made of heavyweight chamois flannel, then lined with PrimaLoft® insulation for cozy warmth without extra bulk.
Our classic chamois shirts have been favorites for generations, ever since they were first introduced back in 1927 by our founder, "L.L.", himself. This cozy lined version was created for even more comfort and warmth, with lightweight PrimaLoft insulation and snap closures for easier layering.
- Lined with nylon taffeta.
- 80-gram PrimaLoft insulation lining adds lightweight warmth without bulk.
- Body: Brushed 7.5 oz. Portuguese cotton.

lousy pattern matching
I figured pattern matching would be an issue, so i ordered three of these barley color striped primaloft chamois shirt-jacs .. two of the three were four inchses off stripes matching from the back around to the front and one was about one inch off .. have not decided if I am going to keep the one inch off number or not .. hedge your bets and go with solid colors, pretty hard to screw that up, right? .. other than pattern mismatching, fit is fine and it is a quality made product, something that is a bit of a rarity these days for L L Bean ..

My husband wears this everyday
I haven’t even had time to wash it because he’s worn it everyday for the last month. Best gift ever. It does fit a bit large, had to exchange an XL for a Lg. It’s been in the 20’s and 30’s here and he stays plenty warm.
