I read the reviews before I bought a pair. I've never seen such negative reviews be so wrong. This is a good boot with a great fit. I've used it in snow, rain, cold etc. in Eastern Canada.

Comfortable Winter Footwear
Warm & waterproof. Front zipper works well. Understand why some feel tightness around the ankle, but the material does loosen after wearing 4-5 days. May still be problematic if one does have very thick ankles.

Europe winter vacation and everyday use.
Europe winter vacation involves walking every day. These kept me warm and dry in every type of weather we encountered. Good grip on icy cobblestone paths, downpours and sunny days. Only shoes I wore for the entire two-week trip!

My favorite cold weather shoe.
VERY warm and comfortable. I only wish they came in brown color. Worn with a thin 100% wool sock, these shoes are warm all day.

Snow sneaker
This was my 1st pair of shoes with a zipper which takes a little getting used to because fully zipped they they are more restrictive than a lower shoe. But they are comfortable and warm.

Easy slip on and comfortable
I bought these over a month ago to replace a pair of Storm Chaser Slip-On Shoes that I had worn out and were no longer water proof. I was hesitant since I had never had a pair of zip-front boots but I really like them. Easy to slip on and very comfortable and light weight. I have used them around the yard and our outbuilding, gone on deep woods trail walks and jogs with the dog. I only get the zipper up about 75% of the way but that works - my feet are snug and warm. I have not had any ice yet but the tread does well on snow and dirt/mud. I'm looking forward to wearing these out. They are as advertised.
